Roxi & Co and NutriSource Partner to Donate More Than $92,000 in Pet Food to Sioux Falls Animal Rescues
Community partnership provides 6,541 bags of dog food, totaling more than 33,000 pounds, to support four local animal rescue organizations.
At Roxi & Co, we believe being a locally owned business means more than simply serving customers. It means investing in the community we call home and finding meaningful ways to make a difference.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to share that Roxi & Co and NutriSource Pet Foods partnered to donate $92,275.59 worth of dog food to four animal rescue organizations in the Sioux Falls area.
The donation included an incredible 6,541 bags of dog food, weighing a combined 33,160 pounds, making it the largest supplier donation Roxi & Co has ever been part of.
Supporting Local Animal Rescues
The donated pet food was designated to benefit four organizations dedicated to caring for animals in need:
These organizations play an important role in our community, providing care, shelter, and opportunities for animals to find loving homes. We’re grateful for the work they do and honored to help support their missions.
A Partnership That Exceeded Expectations
What began as a simple request to NutriSource for pet food to share with local rescues turned into something far greater than we imagined.
“This is the largest supplier donation we’ve ever been part of,” said Telly Rollinger, owner and president of Roxi & Co. “We reached out to NutriSource hoping for some food to share with local rescues, and they delivered far beyond what we imagined. We’re incredibly proud to partner with a company that truly cares about pets and people.”
NutriSource, a third-generation family-owned pet food company based in Perham, Minnesota, has long supported independent pet retailers and the communities they serve.
Their extraordinary generosity made this donation possible, and we’re incredibly thankful for their partnership.
The Power of Shopping Local
This donation represents something we believe deeply at Roxi & Co: when you support locally owned businesses, you’re also helping support the communities they serve.
As an independent pet retailer in Sioux Falls, we’re fortunate to work with manufacturers like NutriSource that share our commitment to animal welfare, strong relationships, and giving back.
We’re equally grateful to our customers, whose continued support allows us to invest in causes and organizations that make our community a better place.
“Every customer who shops local plays a part in this,” Rollinger added. “You’re not just buying pet food. You’re helping us do good in the community.”
Thank You for Helping Us Make a Difference
To the entire NutriSource team, thank you for your remarkable generosity and for helping make such a significant contribution to animal welfare in Sioux Falls.
To the dedicated staff and volunteers at our local rescue organizations, thank you for the compassion and care you provide to animals every day.
And to our customers and the Sioux Falls community, thank you for continuing to support Roxi & Co and the locally owned businesses that invest in the places we call home.
Together, we’re making life better for pets, their people, and our community.
Locally Owned. Community Driven.
